Okay, first of all, life isn't all about religion! Religion and belief play a big part in life, yes. That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is: I'm sure, since God is supposed to be this all-caring, all-loving kind of guy, that he'll be fine with you NOT living in the church all year, and going out, and forming your own opinions about things. The Bible is at least 2000 years old, and that means not everything is covered in there. Nobody gets stoned to death anymore. There are few religions in the world that still encourage trekking, and no, you shouldn't have to be rich to get into heaven.
If it's a little hard to do anything for yourself with out all these people "concerned about you're spiritual well being", then do something for yourself! Don't let someone else tell you how to live all the time! Make your own decisions!
Okay, from here I might refer to the "super-churches". "Super-churches" are a certain group of religions, not necessarily all held in churches, that find it necessary to tell the public what to do.
I dislike all the super-churches for one main reason: they always try and get in YOUR face about how YOU should worship, or how you run YOUR life. They try and set up rules on how they want YOU to live, even if YOU are not part of their religion.
Judaism is not a super-church now, but way back when the Bible was written (we're talking Old Testament here) it was a super-church. However, the Judaism I'm talking about is the current Judaism.
The Jews don't get together and go into a generic college campus and start telling the students there that they are going to hell. I think that is totally worng, and that anyone who does that should be arrested. Colleges and universities that are private are par for the course, since who knows what the administrators believe. But if you go onto a public campus, and you start harassing me? I'm either gonna walk away and file a complaint with the police, or I am going to harass you right on back. I am not going to put up with religious persecution.
One certain religion shouldn't tell other religions, or even the non-religious, that they are wrong and that they must change their ways or else they are going to hell, or they will somehow be punished severely in the afterlife. It should accept everyone as an equal, and treat them all with respect. I mean, heck, isn't that what Jesus said? 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you'? And yeah, I know that only Christians would do the whole Jesus thing, but really, he had some good ideas, and I think that good ideas should be duly noted, and listened to.
However, Jesus was an all-around man of peace. He would not have condoned war. He would not have condoned persecution. He would not have condoned hatreds like racism, sexism, gay-bashing, or anything like that. If Jesus lovedthe little children, he loved all the little children of the world, as the song goes. He wouldn't hate all the children from Africa just because they were a different skin color. He wouldn't hate the little gay kid because he's gay. He wouldn't hate me because I'm an atheist. He might say that I was not doing God's will, but he wouldn't ostracize me from his group of loved little children. He would be TOLERANT. And no matter what religion it is, I think that that should be the most important trait. Tolerance.
As far as I can see, the super-churches are only concerned with two things: getting as many members as possible, and keeping all those members in the super-church religion (whatever that religion might be). I do not want to join your religion. If I change my mind, I will let you know.
Now, I would like ot discuss the very peaceful 'religions'. Buddhism and Hinduism are peaceful, meditative, life philosophies, and have very little to do with being a religion. Yet somehow they are viewed by super-churches as 'demonic', 'soul-threatening', 'corruptive', and/or 'wrong'. What did they do to the super-churches to merit being called horrible religions? They just want you to acheive inner peace. Isn't Jesus saying generally the same thing? I don't get why people who have no problem with you, and who are peaceful, and trying to acheive a state of goodness, are EVIL. They are not evil, and they are not trying to corrupt your child. In fact, they could probably care less if your child was a Buddhist (or a Hindu or etc.) or not. They are only interested in inner peace. Meditation is somwhat like praying. Only instead of talking to a God, the meditator is acheiving balance and silence. They are focusing themselves. How are balance, inner peace, and focus evil?
Now, concerning religion and me personally. I have no problem with you or your religion. I have no problem with any religion, unless it is hypocritical, or goes against human rights. I won't have respect for you, unless you have respect for me. I will not treat you nicely if you get in my face and call me evil. Stop telling me I am going to hell in hopes that it will make me change my mind. I am a strong-willed, opinionated, independant person. I will not follow whatever you say blindly. If I want to be a part of your religion, I will let you know when I am ready, not when you want me to be. So stop pushing me. If you don't know me, if you've never met me before, then you're not allowed to say anything about me, or how I live my life. I don't tell you how to live.
My personal philosphy in life is not a religion. It is just that: a philosophy. I am a Humanist. If you want to know what that means, I'll quote religioustolerance.org for you:
"Humanism is a non-theistically based philosophy which promotes humanity as the measure of all things."
I believe in evolution, gender equality, racial equality, COMPLETE separation of church and state NO EXCEPTIONS, and same-sex marriage/adoption. I believe that everyone is equal, and deserves a chance. I think that money should not define a person. I believe that the justice system should not discriminate based on any criteria but guilt or innocence. I am pro-choice, and think that if you don't want a baby, then you should be able to get an abortion, within reason. I am probably a 'left-wing radical' in the opinion of many. I will not claim that I am infallible and that anyone who doubts me is going to die a painful death and suffer forever in the afterlife.
I guess that just about wraps up my entry. I had to get some of this off of my chest, since I was getting stressed out about it. People apparently don't like it when I have opinions.

Introduction
Weight regain years after successful gastric bypass surgery is a fairly common therapeutic challenge facing today’s practicing bariatric surgeon. The majority of weight loss after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) tends to occur during the first 1 to 2 years postoperatively and averages 65 to 80 percent of excess body weight loss (EBWL).1-3 Magro et al recently showed that at two years, as many as 50 percent of RYGB patients had gained at least some weight from their nadir weight, with an average weight regain of some 8.8kg in that particular subset at five years.3 Other prospective studies have shown a weight regain of 20 percent of patients at 10 years.4 Well understood now in the medical community is the negative impact that this excess weight has on the incidence of cardiovascular, metabolic, orthopedic, and pulmonary disease.

"Make no mistake: my opponent is running for four more years of policies that will throw the economy further out of balance," Obama said, taking on McCain's bankrupt ideology. "His outrage at Wall Street would be more convincing if he wasn't offering them more tax cuts. His call for fiscal responsibility would be believable if he wasn't for more tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, and more of a trillion dollar war in Iraq paid for with deficit spending and borrowing from foreign creditors like China. His newfound support for regulation bears no resemblance to his scornful attitude towards oversight and enforcement.
"John McCain cannot be trusted to reestablish proper oversight of our financial markets for one simple reason: he has shown time and again that he does not believe in it," he added.
Obama also went after McCain's call for a commission: "Just today, Senator McCain offered up the oldest Washington stunt in the book - you pass the buck to a commission to study the problem. But here's the thing -- this isn't 9/11. We know how we got into this mess. What we need now is leadership that gets us out. I'll provide it, John McCain won't, and that's the choice for the American people in this election."
Perhaps most importantly, Obama contrasted his specific record with McCain's: "In February of 2006, I introduced legislation to stop mortgage transactions that promoted fraud, risk or abuse. A year later, before the crisis hit, I warned Secretary Paulson and Chairman Bernanke about the risks of mounting foreclosures and urged them to bring together all the stakeholders to find solutions to the subprime mortgage meltdown. Senator McCain did nothing. Last September, I stood up at NASDAQ and said it's time to realize that we are in this together -- that there is no dividing line between Wall Street and Main Street -- and warned of a growing loss of trust in our capital markets. Months later, Senator McCain told a newspaper that he'd love to give them a solution to the mortgage crisis, 'but' -- he said -- 'I don't know one.' [...]
"This March, in the wake of the Bear Stearns bailout, I called for a new, 21st century regulatory framework to restore accountability, transparency, and trust in our financial markets. Just a few weeks earlier, Senator McCain made it clear where he stands: 'I'm always for less regulation,' he said, and referred to himself as 'fundamentally a deregulator.' This is what happens when you confuse the free market with a free license to let special interests take whatever they can get, however they can get it."
Obama has generally held modest leads over McCain on who voters trust more on the economy, but those leads have become much smaller in recent weeks. If Obama's speech and message get any attention at all, I suspect the lead will grow considerably.

This story is nothing to do with fitness center, gym, or health club marketing, except to tell my mistakes for all to learn from.
**Warning** before you buy an existing club, hear my story.
I was approached about purchasing the equipment from a gym that i was a member of in 2003. i was told they had 400 members and were bringing in $12,000 per month.
I took a witness to one of the owners house to discuss the deal with one owner, I didnt know the other owner wasnt going to be there because he was in drug rehab at the time. That was the first lie of many.
Heres the rest of a terrible 5 years of court dates and harassment.
The guy told me he would get me a contract and papers such as, taxes for the last 3 years, membership contracts, and loan amounts for the equipment. But the problem was they had to be out of their building in 30 days, and my father had a new shopping center that he had just built and i could move in there.
So, i told the guy i would take over the payments when i got open in 30 days. so i sat out to do the build out and got it complete in time to open by November 2003. All the time he was putting me off about the paperwork he promised. I really wasnt worried that much because i knew they couldnt hold me to a verbal agreement when i had a witness and they were breaking the agreement first.
Well, after the gym was opened and we moved the equipment in, we finally got the contract. It said they owed over $170,000 on the equipment alone, and it was only worth about $20,000. They also came in and told me that i had to get another account started up because they were in trouble with the IRS, then they came in and did the draft while i was out one day and my secretary told me it was only $3,500 for a month instead of the $12,000 per month they said.
Then the IRS came by and said that they were coming to take the equipment because they hadnt file in 5 years since they were opened.
So i called the owners, by this time both owners were there because the one had gotten out of rehab. they came to my office and i told them they lied about everything and that they could get all there equipment out by 15 days and i had already ordered my own stuff. needless to say, they were mad and threatened to sue me. I said go ahead because i didnt sign anything and they broke the agreement first.
Then they said the one owners father was rich and he would be supplying the money to sue me.
Well, I sat their equipment out after 30 days because they wouldnt come get it even after i sent them certified letters warning them it was outside in the elements.
They finally came and got it 2 months later.
Then the lawsuit finally came up a year later after i asked numerous times for the judge to order them to give me all the paper work such as taxes and contracts which they still didnt have. So i didnt worry about taking my attorney after the fourth time going to court because they hadnt given me the paperwork yet and by law i wasnt suppose to have to have court until they complied.
So they went and found a crooked judge to go around all that. He told me he was tired of waiting and told them to give me whatever they had, which was some madeup papers.
When court started, the judge wouldnt allow any of my evidence at all because, and i quote, it was irrerevant to the case. But he allowed all their evidence that was actually nothing to do with the case. Thats when i knew he was paid off.
The same jusge is under investigation for other cases and the state is trying to force him to retire now.
So i appealed, but was told by my attorney, the court system was not wanting to open a can of worms because the judge had a really big case he was under investigaton for and the state couldnt afford to have other cases come out about that judge.
He found in the other gyms favor for the sum of $190,000
All this to say, DONT EVER MAKE A VERBAL AGREEMENT WITHOUT ATTORNEYS AND ALL IS LEGAL AND RECORDED!!.

"The general public doesn't recognize the quality of care Lincoln provides because of who they serve there," says Joyce Nichols, who has used the center for her health-care needs for thirty-five years. "The people there don't care how you're dressed or how you look or smell. They treat you with respect, and they treat you as well as or better than any other medical provider in town."
Schmidt makes sure of that. Lincoln's chief executive since shortly after it opened in 1970, she possesses a commitment to serving the poor that borders on a passion and has become the center's guiding principle in a continually changing health-care industry. Although she and her staff readily adjust to the timesSchmidt's office door features a picture of a dinosaur with the caption "Adapt or Die"providing high-quality medical care to patients on the margins of society is the steady foundation of the center.
"Most of our patients have been pretty much left out in the cold by the health-care system," she says. "The only way we're going to succeed as a nation is if we're healthier and better educatedand I mean everybody has to be provided for." Durham, she says, is "a tale of two cities," with Duke Medical Center's world-class facilities and pioneering research taking place a stone's throw from the bleak financial and social conditions faced by Lincoln's clientele.

(I felt Doctor Signout deserved a more complete answer, so here it is.)
Im surrounded by cynicism. Doctors make particularly good cynics (although not always the best skeptics). Why are we cynics? Pehaps because we see human behavior in the raw. On a dailyno, hourlybasis, we see people making decisions that destory their bodies. People who make good decisions end up at the doctor, but people who make bad decisions seem to end up at the a lot doctor more. Much of the pathology I see is preventable disease.
Still, doctors cynicism is often tempered by a good deal of compassion. Ive seen the most hardened docs talking trash in the back office, only to moments later walk into the room of a patient, hold their hand, and find a way to reach them.
Medicine is a diverse set of professions. A radiologist can go through their career (nearly) without speaking to a patient, or can choose to spend extra time with a patient before a procedure explaining it, calming fears, in short, being a doctor. Other fields, such as mine, are dominated by interpersonal interaction. In the past, these interactions made up the bulk of useful medicine, as the medical stuff didnt actually do much. The last few decades have seen remarkable advances in preventing and treating many of the big killers. In the past, it was the surgeons who perhaps had the best shot at saving a life. Now, we internists share that glory.
Before the discovery of insulin, diabetics diedquickly. Now, we not only know how to keep diabetics alive, but we know how to prevent the vascular complications that maim and kill them. This isnt done with a scalpel or a shot, but with our knowledge and education. We know that keeping blood sugars in a certain range reduces the risk of blindness, kidney failure, and other diabetic complications. We know that keeping the blood pressure and cholesterol of diabetics low prevents heart attacks and strokes. Performing these daily miracles requires listening to patients, examining them, and teaching them. If you want to know how the sausage is made, lets look at a typical diabetic appointment with me.
First, the medical assistant will take your vital signs as ask you how youre doing. Then Ill come in and chat, and watching you and listening to you will give me valuable clues to your overall health. Do you lean in trying to hear me? Are you forgetful? Do you look uncomfortable, as if your back or legs hurt? Does your skin look good? Do you smell funny?
Next, Ill retake your vital signs, and do a brief physical, based on any complaints you may have, and based on my needs to know how youre doing. Ill likely check your feet, and remind you to do the same. Looking at my diabetic flow sheet, Ill make sure youve seen the eye doctor, and Ill make sure Ive checked your labs. Then Ill ask the medical assistant to step in and take your blood and urine. If you have protein in your urine, Ill likely adjust some medications. If your blood pressure isnt at goal, another adjustment. If youve gained weight, well talk about how to drop it. All this and more goes into a typical visit. If you and I do this right, we can drop your risk of complications dramatically, literally saving life and limb. I can typically collect about 80-110 dollars for this.
If I clean out your ears instead, I can get about $90. No limbs saved, no kidneys rescued. But the wax will be gone. And its fast.
Which leads to the reason that a fraction of U.S. med school grads (about 2%) are going into primary carelots of debt, lower pay.
The financial stresses of being a young doctor (including starting a practice, having a family, caring for patients, etc.) are tremendous, and are system pushes the talent away. Still, for people who love medicine, love other people, love to wake up every morning knowing that you are making a concrete difference, the sacrifice in time and money is worth it.
I suppose I consider myself a compassionate cynic. I have a realistic view of human beings, but since I know that people are imperfect, I am less likely to be judgemental. Sure, our system is strained, and until we fix it we will continue to have to import our primary care talent. But even with its flaws, I love internal medicine too much (and perhaps have too much invested) to doubt my decision to do what I do.

The WTC Cough Syndrome (a chronic cough syndrome, thought to be a consequence of upper and lower respiratory disease typically including chronic asthmatic bronchitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, chronic gastroesophageal reflux, or any combination of the three) has been reported by a large percentage of the exposed. Rarely, there has also been evidence of interstitial lung disease, such as sarcoidosis, pulmonary fibrosis, and bronchiolitis obliterans. The WTC Cough Syndrome was first described in rescue workers from the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY).

article in the current Newsweek that implicitly criticizes the tendency of the media to dwell on big breakthroughs in cancer research, without looking at the bigger picture.
The metaphor of fighting cancer implies the possibility of winning, one oncologist, who is also a cancer survivor, told Newsweek. With cancer, sometimes death is not optional.
Still, there are plenty of possibilities for improving outcomes for many patients. And the article looks at why some $200 billion in federal cancer funding since the early 1970s hasnt done more to reduce cancers death toll.
One important reason is simply how complex and varied cancer is even a single tumor may cells that vary significantly from one another, making the disease remarkably difficult to treat.
Another is that the focus on finding brilliant new cures may have taken some research dollars away from the less glamorous work of making small, incremental improvements by testing new combinations of existing treatments. Over time, those incremental improvements can really add up. But they dont make for good stories the way a new breakthrough drug does.

The following events are as I recall them. Witnesses and participants are welcome to elaborate or correct my recollections.
Reptet, is a local jazz group, scheduled to perform at Cafe Rozella on Friday September 12th at 7 p.m. You may recall that Reptet performed at last years Music Nights at White Center in what became known as the Night of the Reptet. The event was historic. It all started innocently enough, with Reptet doing their jazz thing at The Triangle. The crowd seemed normal enough with a smattering of knuckle-draggers looking for a fight. Reptet stroked hypnotic rhythms, the crowd began to murmur. An Alaska fisherman, just returned from the Bering Sea, shouted, what is this jazz shit? I want some Led Zeppelin! Reptets saxophonist pulled up to the fisherman and stroked the tenor with his fingers moving up and down the instruments keys. Transfixed, the fisherman cracked a smile and began doing an Irish jig. The crowd circled round the dancing fisherman and clapped and hollered as he introduced complex gyrations into his dance routine. Women jumped on the bar and danced above the crowd. Reptet revved up the tunage and now the crowd was theirs.
They marched outside and the crowd followed in a long conga line. Bystanders jumped in and everyone was whooping and hollering. The parade snaked around the Delridge Triangle and more and more bystanders joined the procession til dozens were snaking in the impromptu conga line. The jazz swelled with the crowd and the tunage from Reptet was primal, calling some atavistic desire for tribal bonding. The intersection of Delridge and Roxbury was now owned by the Reptet nation. Cars stopped in the middle of the intersection and people jumped out to join the bacchanalia. As it happened Seattle Police Chief Gil Kerlikowskie was stopped in his car by the impromptu party. He had misplaced his gun, and thought he might have left it in the bathroom at the Pho shop where he had been lunching with the local constabulary. Grimacing and irascible, the Chief was none too pleased by this street show. Some revelers recognized Kerlikowskie and began chanting, remember the Battle of Seattle! Soon the Chiefs car was surrounded by an angry mob. Reptet knew they had to do something to save the day. They jumped on top of the chiefs car and grooved on a Coltraine acid jazz lick that transfixed the crowd. The dancing resumed and before long the conga line was streaming through White Center. Reptet led the crowd back to The Triangle where hundreds cheered them on with chants of more, more, more The evening ended with everyone spontaneously breaking into a rendition of American Pie.
And in the streets: the children screamed,
The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed.
But not a word was spoken; The church bells all were broken.
And the three men I admire most:
The father, son, and the holy ghost,
They caught the last train for the coast
The day the music died.
And they were singing, bye-bye, miss american pie.
Drove my chevy to the levee, But the levee was dry.
And them good old boys were drinkin’ whiskey and rye
Singin’, this’ll be the day that I die. this’ll be the day that I die.
And that became known in local folklore as The Night of the Reptet.

how it works. So the first thing to do is setup categories. Let's work with "weapons" in this example. You open the bags/categories window and add a category called weapons. Now we define what weapons are by adding rules. This is really easy as Baggins' menu is logically setup with drop down menus for each rule. We select "item type: weapon" as our first rule, but then realize that this could include mining picks and skinning knives, so for the second rule we select the "NOT" operation and the rule "tradeskill tool", this way they aren't shown. Next we create a virtual bag and I'm going to name it "Equipment" (but it could be called anything) and assign the category "weapons" to this bag. If we wanted to we could add another section to our equipment bag and assign another category to that section such as "armor." Now we have a brand new virtual bag that shows our weapons and armor. Typing it all out makes the process sound a little complicated, and while it is more so than the other addons we looked at today, it was actually pretty easy to see how Baggins worked thanks to the well designed interface. In fact my only complaints about Baggins are how you're limited to only the icons grid view, and how the amount of options may scare away novice addon users.
Wrap up
Whelp, that about covers it for this week's The Creamy GUI Center. I hope it wasn't information overload as I know we got down and dirty with the details of the reviewed addons this week. I really feel the addons highlighted represent the best bag and inventory addons you can find as of the time this was published. I wouldn't declare any of these particular addon a clear winner as they each provide the same basic functionality but go about it differently enough where they're each distinct from one another. It's always nice to have variety. Try them all out and figure which one bests suits your needs. Finally, I wouldn't be doing you justice if I didn't mention Feithar's Bag of Holding. I didn't review it because the addon is still being developed and is rough around the edges. It's definitely one to keep an eye on though. Be sure to join me next week as we finish up inventory managers with a look at Outfitter, Itemrack and more! Till then, happy modding.

Early diagnosis is very important for the proper management and treatment of diabetes. In fact, if someone is detected with diabetes at a very early stage, the damages caused by diabetes will be a minimum and the individual can have more opportunities to combat against the disease. Part of living with diabetes implies living with different types of diabetes testing; however, a little few people have sufficient knowledge about diabetes testing. This article exclusively focuses on providing its reader an overview of different types of diabetes testing.
About High Blood Glucose Level
Prior understanding about different types of diabetes testing, you should know the role of blood glucose level in the diabetic condition. Doctors detect diabetes based on too-high level of glucose present within blood. If you are suffering from diabetes, your blood glucose level becomes higher due to the foods you consume. However, foods have very little impact on blood glucose level for those people not suffering from diabetes.
Insulin, a hormone releasing from pancreas, permits glucose to enter into the body cells, so that it can be used for energy production. Hence, insulin is the most effective tool to promote balance in the blood glucose level. Individuals suffering from diabetes can acquire either insulin deficiency or insulin resistance. In either way it means that their system does not respond well to the function of insulin.
For diabetic people, as because insulin is not functioning properly, it leads to the formation of blockage in the way glucose enters to the body cell for producing energy. Instead, their unutilized glucose accumulates in their blood and traverses the kidney if the glucose level becomes higher than optimum, which is indeed fatal to health.
Urine Tests
Although high urine glucose level can be identified as a warning signal, the urine test is not a good option for diabetes testing. In fact, urine tests do not offer validity or reliability as much as blood tests do. The amount of glucose coming through urination largely varies from person to person. It may be possible that you are having high glucose level, however, your urine does not show that much. So, in order to diagnose diabetes, doctors largely depend on blood tests.
Blood Tests
The primary objective of blood glucose test is to identify whether your blood glucose level is very high or not. There are two major types of diabetes blood testing – screening and diagnostic. Screening tests are for those individuals showing no apparent symptoms of diabetes, however, their health condition is somehow suspicious. The diagnostic tests are used to corroborate a diagnosis for those who have already shown diabetic symptoms.
Random plasma glucose test, fasting plasma glucose test, oral glucose tolerance test are the commonly used diagnostic test. The fasting plasma glucose test is useful for detecting diabetes. Among all these tests, fasting plasma glucose test is easy and effective. If the fasting plasma glucose level is higher than 126mg/dL consistently, it can be diagnosed as diabetic condition. For random plasma glucose test, if the level is higher than 200mg/dL, it indicates diabetes.
The oral glucose tolerance test is complex and needs to be conducted in different phases. It measures blood glucose level 5 times within a timeframe of 3 hours. Individuals having glucose level ranging between normal and diabetic possess impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and they are not diagnosed having diabetes.
