However, Abbas himself co-founder of Fatah with Arafat, and known as Abu Mazen - now tells a different story. Speaking with Al-Palestinia TV on Monday, Abbas admitted that his family was not expelled or driven out, but rather left for fear that the Jews might take revenge for the slaughter of 20 Jews in the city during the Arab pogroms of 19 years earlier.
In the words of Abbas:
I am among those who were born in the city of Tzfat (Safed). We were a family of means. I studied in elementary school, and then came the naqba [calamity, namely, the founding of the State of Israel ed.]. At night, we left by foot from Tzfat, to the Jordan River, where we remained for a month. Then we went to Damascus, and then to our relatives in Jordan, and then we settled in Damascus.
My father had money, and he spent his money systematically, and after a year, the money ran out and we began to work.
The peoples basic motives brought them to run away for their lives and with their property. These [motives] were very important, for they feared the violence of the Zionist terrorist organizations and especially those of us from Tzfat felt that there was an old desire for revenge from the rebellion of 1929, and this was in the memory of our families and parents.
The Abbas referred to was a series of brutal Arab attacks on Jewish towns in the summer of 1929. Nearly 70 Jews were slaughtered in their homes in Hevron, 20 in Tzfat, 17 in Jerusalem, and others were murdered in Motza, Kfar Uriah and Tel Aviv.
The memory of the slaughter, Abbas said, brought [our families] to understand that the military balance had changed, and that [we] no longer had military forces in their real meaning. There were only young people who fought, and there was an initial action. They felt that the balance of power had collapsed and they therefore decided to leave. The entire city was abandoned based on this thought the thought of their property and saving themselves.

Chip has led an interesting life; part of it was spent in the Navy. Between 1986 and 1990 he served as an Interior Communications Petty Officer 3rd class on board the USS Peleliu LHA-5. As part of his job he performed ship's maintenance, which involved exposure to asbestos.
Asbestos Removal"I worked around asbestos the whole time," Chip said. "When we were at sea we had a maintenance schedule we were responsible for 25-35 spaces. Some of the rooms we worked in had air flow controllers wrapped in asbestos. Sea water would get in and makes things dirty. So it was our responsibility to clean and paint these areas. We would work in these spaces continually. We didn't have air respirators, gloves or suits, no protective gear. When we were in the Philippines the Ship's officers suspended our efforts to move or encapsulate the asbestos saying that it was too dangerous for ship's personnel to continue to work with it. What Makes for Good Oil? In anything that is used on the body, especially if it is to improve health, it must be clean, purity and of high quality. Quality is a function of growing and harvesting conditions. Purity is the result of handling so that it is free of contaminants, undamaged and undepleated. So as not to damage the plant material, it must be picked by hand, and contain no trash parts. Also, the extraction process must not impart impurities, to the oil. When sold, pure oil is not cut, or diluted.
Concentrated Potency Essential oils are so very concentrated. They are potent beyond compare with fresh or dried herbs. Consider how much dried oregano you use in a recipe in the kitchen. Now consider it may take a roomful of the oregano to get a small ounce of the oil. Use one drop of oil and how many plant leaves did it take - perhaps a bushel? Because it takes so many pieces of plants to extract even a very small amount of pure oil, makes essential oils - especially those from certain plants, very expensive. They also must be harvested and handled by human hand so as not to damage the plant and the delicate oils it carries.

The essence of the plant is the part containing the chemotypes, or the chemistry of the plant, that which can affect other systems and react with other chemistries.

Most perfect body building results are just a love-handle off away. Everything else is perfectly sculpted except the love handles. Lots of sit-ups, running, and bending dont seem to work. Why? Its due mostly to wrong muscles being worked out. The muscles used in a workout are in no way connected to the area of the body that needs sculpting. Just remember the body building principle: Unless the right muscles are used in a workout, fats in the area that needs burning will never be burned off. The same goes with how to burn fats off love hands for a sexy and trim waistline.
Why Not Sit-Ups?
Sit ups are good for burning front and back fats of the belly-mostly back fats. But it is a weak technique if youre targeting your love handles. The Right Exercise
Simply stand up and bend slowly to your right side, as far as you can, while tip-toeing the right foot. Now, while in that position, try to touch your left love handle. Youll notice that its stretched stiff. That means the muscle there is being used, as it is stretched to the full, and wringing out fats. Do the same with the other side. This is among correct ways on how to burn fats off love handles and achieve a sexy and trim waistline. Do this for 10 to 15 minutes several times a day. Use weights gradually with the opposite hand.
Now, dont expect amazing results within 3 days or a week. This requires patient persistence. You can probably see results within weeks or months. And it should be done with proper diet and a holistic fitness program that involves other parts of the body. You cant have trim sinewy sides while having a flabby chest and belly. Proper results means proper ways on how to burn fats off love handles for a sexy and trim waistline.
